Indigenous Reconciliation & Decolonization

We are socially conscious at least 25% of our annual earnings will go directly to provide sliding scale, below cost journeys to Indigenous community members. In particular we serve survivors of the Indian Residential School, and those affected by Intergenerational Residential School trauma, funds will go towards the Qweqwetsin Family and Healing Society for building Indigenous Healing Lodges and Indigenous Women's Emergency and Transitional housing, and healing for Indigenous Men so that we can keep our families together support restorative justice frameworks and move into a time of Indigenous reconciliation.

Plant medicines are ancient teachers and have been part of the Indigenous tradition for healing, ceremony and spirituality since time immemorial and the resurgence of their use is an act of decolonization and reconciliation. Laws in Canada prevented Indigenous people from gathering and practicing our ceremonies and culture until 1951, before that time it was illegal and was a central tenant in cultural loss and colonization. Sman, Vancouver, BC

"As a person coming from a background of trauma and neglect, have revisited counsellors several times over several decades in one journey I found more answers within myself than all previous years of counselling combined. Afterwards feeling of content and knowing my purpose, and purposeful direction. Would recommend for anyone especially with trauma, sexual abuse, and anxiety. With my anxiety I might have been concerned about the cost but it's well worth it 200% a must do." Sman
